How tuition and aid work
The office gives each family its figures at the visit.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on the grade group and on whether a student uses extended care. It is set by the school year and can be paid by the year, the term or the month. The office gives the figures at the visit and in the enrollment packet.

Registration
An application fee covers reading the application and meeting the student, and is due when a family applies. An enrollment fee holds a place after an offer is accepted.
Holding a place
A place is held when a family signs the enrollment agreement and makes the first payment, which goes toward tuition. A family has two weeks to answer an offer. If a grade is full, the waitlist is kept in the order families applied.
Billing
Billing is by the year, the term or the month. Autopay is available, and the office sends a reminder before each payment.
Help with tuition
Financial aid is available; here is how to apply. After you apply, the office sends a short aid form about your household. The head of school and two board members read each form, and aid decisions go out the same week as admissions decisions. Ask us at the visit about state programs for families at private schools.
Siblings
A second child at the school is handled differently, and a third differently again. The office explains how at the visit.
Withdrawing
We ask for thirty days' notice in writing. What happens to a term in progress is in the enrollment agreement, and the office goes through it with you before you sign.
Ask about aid at a visit
The head of school goes through tuition, aid and billing with every family, in person or by phone.
